If you are not receiving Social Committee emails and would like to, please send a message to avianglensocial@gmail.com so that we can add you to the social ditribution list. Please note that this distribution list is separate from the Avian Glen Homeowners' Association email distribution list.
What is the Social Committee? The Social Committee is a group of Neighbors who volunteer to organize the various social events of the neighborhood. Typically, the committee is led by a Social Committee Chair or Co-Chairs and a Social Committe Treasurer. The leadership positions are annual volunteer positions, typically running from August to August. The Social Committee is a great way to build friendships and have fun!
What are some of the Avian Glen Social Events? Progressive Party, Halloween Party, Cookies with Santa, Ladies' Night Out, Easter Egg Hunt, Neighborhood Garage Sale, and the Neighborhood Summer Picnic. We also have Penguin Parties for adults in the winter (once a month) and Flamingo Parties for the entire family (every Friday night) from the end of May to September.
